I have a Sidewinder(Hustler)that I bought all the parts and put my tracks together but I can't keep them on.I was wondering if my problem could be 1;overinflation of my tires or 2;my tires are a little worn, not bad,but a little do the tracks require more tread?

Hi,

I just got an Argo Conquest and put a set of Tru Traks on... After doing it, (with no instructions by the way from Tru Traks on how to do it) I think I can help. The tracks have vertical extensions on the sides to keep them on the tires...the only way for the tire to come off, assuming your track does not come apart, is for the tire to override the vertical extensions. (Assuming you did put the tracks on right side out..>LOL) So If you are overriding the extensions, it must be because the track is too loose. To get the Tru Trak on my machine, I had to let the air out of all the tires. (four on each side.) Then I had to pull like crazy to get the track parts to come together. I ended up using two 3 inch c-clamps to pull the final two inches and to get allignment. After getting in the connector rod, I reinflated the tires to 3 psi...Max is 5 psi..After I reinflated, the track was TIGHT...ain't no way I can see it coming off. So bottom line, If you did not FIGHT to get the track together, I would say it is just too loose..Try taking out a link or two. Good luck.
