I need some help finding out what chain sizes I have on my 1999 MAX IV.
The numbers on the main drive chains are 530 and on all other chains it has RS 50.
I’m thinking that the RS 50 is a #50 chain but what is a 530??????? I thought 530 was a metric chain.

Thanks

gary, the first # is always fractional of eights, for the pitch (link centres). example #50, the 5 is 5/8 inches (.625").

40 series comes in #40, #41, 420 and 428. the later the most desired.
it would be nice to get straight what the 2nd and 3rd digits stand for, fractions, percentages, or what.

so lets see who on the route is smarter than the formerly handcuffed wolf is!
