Well After about 4 months of pure hard core riding my 6 wheeler finaly broke down again. I have been deeply impressed. The bad thing is is that i have major engine difficulties. My rings went out and dammaged the piston but not the cylinder. So all i need is a new/used piston for my JLO L295 single 2 stroke. If anyone has any info or help i would greatly appreciate it
thanks Scott

I don't know the name of the tranny. It is not listed in the TERRA TIGER owners manual. It is however very versatile as is the clutch reline job that I had done. Although not completely restored, I have been riding my Tiger extesively and it hasn't failed me. I currently am working on a winch project that will enable me to mount it to the front or back of the machine. A friend of mine has modified his Tiger tranny (a lot of engineering and machine shop work) to have a reverse gear.

I'm alittle confused. I own a tiger and am not aware of any transmission. It has the two steering clutches and the salsbury torque convertor but NO transmission. When I went by Richard's last year he mentioned that the tigers were fairly fast because they had direct drive instead of the power going through a transmision. So, scooter, what I'm confused is what are you talking about? Did some tigers have a different drive setup then what I have and what is shown in the manuel or are we talking about the same items but are calling them by different names?
