My Search and Rescue team has a Argo avenger 750 FI, and we are trying to figure out the best way to secure it inside our 16 foot enclosed trailer. Is it best to tie the front down to the floor from the winch mount, and the back using the Hitch with a hook in it? or a single long strap over all the axles on each side? How is everyone else doing it? on a flat bed trailer, in a truck, forget the trailer and just drive it there?

Thanks
Lt. Matt Pearce

Any of the above, just don't strap it down tight by the plastic body, it might deform.

I have 2 wheel chocks at the front of my trailer about 10" high, drive the ARGO up to it, apply the park brake. At the rear right directly below the hitch, I have a large 5000lb eye ring bolted through the floor. I have a piece of 3/8" galvanized chain with a quick link that goes through the eye ring and just enough chain, when I take the hitchball bar out, the loop of the chain will just fit over the square receiver tube, replace the hitch bar and the chain can't come off. can't go forward or back, the most it can jiggle is maybe an inch in any direction.

Try searching for "Louisiana Guard Dog". Just a suggestion. Hope this helps.

You could order the new tie downs that bolt to the bearing extensions... They work great
