It can't handle very much mud. I have a ATTEX 450 Tomahawk and I live by a field with a small creek running through it. In one spot it widens out and gets shallow. There is only about 1" of water and about 1' of mud. I have tried to get through it two differed times and both times I had to get pulled out.

Our friend Ben S doesn't know is butt from his elbow. I have a 400 Chief ... Goodyear Rawhide TWO's ... and ... IT HANDLES JUST ABOUT ANYTHING ... NOW THAT I'VE LEARNED HOW TO DRIVE IT ! The secret is to apply all that horse power CORRECTLY ... and ... keep from high centering your vehicle. Horse power is great thing ... so long as you have traction ... BUT ... using TOO MUCH power (trying to claw your way through) just digs a big hole!
