I am looking at the Max4, 23hp with the 26" wheels. I need to cross 900' of sometimes water to 5' deep and other times everything in between. It is a maple swamp that floods when the lake rises. Lots of deadfall, cattails and stumps too.I do not want to dish out $12,000.00 and find that the machine can not handle it. Please help! SR

Steve,

Check with the dealer to see if they'll take you to the area that you have in mind or somewhere similar. I had a question as to whether or not the machine I wanted could handle some of the hills I'd need to climb. Most of the dealers I spoke with were more than happy to take one of their machines out to let me try before I purchased anything.
