I need help for this topic because i don't want to put the jack in a wrong place in my Argo Bigfoot because the bottom is so soft, i don't want to break it, pls help!

a standered automotive type floorjack will do the job just right,if you worri about the jacking surfice you only need a wood block to spred out the lifting serfice, you only need place the jack under the fraim suported points to lift the body,
even if you miss theres nothing to fear by lifting the body by other points under the hull, as long as you have a wood block on top of the jack_a six inch long 2x4 for example will support your hull ok. |

You can put the jack under the front end directly beneathe the round section of tube frame or under the flat metal part between the frame rails. In the back you can use the trailer hitch mount or metal between the frame rails. You are correct to not put the jack under the area where the chains run.
You can use a board as a pad on your floor jack then put it up on jack stands or use old milk crates to support it. If you are just needing to get to one tire you can always drive it up on something so that tire is off the ground. |

Why not just put a cinder block on the floor and drive the Argo up on it is the wheel you want top change is OFF the floor? (If you have the six wheeler, you may need two cinder blocks if you are changing the center wheel.) Seems to me easier than jacking. |
