Hi, just want to ask can we towing the Argo at the back of the trailer? should I put it in neutral and how about the parking brake,
if I just want to push it around by hand, what should i do without starting the Argo.

I would fabricate some type of "V" shape towing bar to attach to both front axles and then the single point to the tow vehicle. These machines have a tendancy to keep rolling straight even when the tow vehicle is turning. A "V" bar will help turn the machine when the tow vehicle turns.

If you were towing it at high speeds (highway speeds) i'd check with the factory to make sure nothing will happen to it, I would also think it would be hard on the bearings etc unless its on a trailer or something |

When you say at the back of the trailer, do you mean the position on a trailer? Or do you mean actually towing the Argo? If you put it on a trailer leave it in gear and engage the parking brakes, also tie it down or at least have a chain or something to keep it from rolling off the trailer. It will shift around.
If you are going to actually tow it that would tear it up pretty quickly. It will want to track straight and you will wear out the tires quickly and put a lot of stress on the drivetrain. Pushing around by hand is pretty tough and normally just forward and backwards, it won't hurt the machine. If you want to move it around in a garage or on a cement surface most people find an old pallet jack and use that. Another option would be to build a single axle dolly that balances the Argo in the middle. That way you could just lift up or push down on the front or back and push it around by hand. |
