Best news I have ever heard concerning 6x6ers, lets bring back the gang from the old Route6x6 board, and get away from 6x6world, which is now just a club for a few. While there is some great guys there is mostly guys who seem to feel that the site is theirs and no one else is really welcomed. Mostly all these guys is spread hatred towards others and Route6x6 in particular. |

I too have felt " not welcomed" on the other board. I do hope Richard does bring back a new board. I think what we will have is 2 boards. I feel the other board will shout to the world Ha ha. that their board is better and this new board is crap. We will be better than them and just make out little new board grow and grow by answering questions, taking and being nice with each other and telling the truth.

I bet handling a board is a lot of work, much less setting it up. While we are waiting. What are you guys driving today? For me a fully restored 2005 Max IV and the same Argo Conquest that I have had for a decade. I like the Argo but I seem to always drive the Max, I guess I just love the T-20. |

We have 5 springers. (2) Attex Springers that we call the Yellow Spider (he was the 1st springer build) & the Scorpion. Then (2) Max II springers. Mine is called the SS & the other big boy is the Gila Monster. Our Max IV springer we call Godzilla.
I got to drive a 6 wheel Argo once & an eight wheel Argo once. THAT was a learning curve when the only thing you've ever driven for 40+ years was a T-20 Someone told me while driving the eight wheeler Argo to back up, so I reached down for the reverse shifter & there wasn't one. |

Sanded, and welded frame, then had it sprayed with POR15, new brakes, all new bearings, pillow blocks, flanges, chains, built new wiring harness, replaced every fastener, went through T-20, replaced 16hp vanguard 18hp, added LED rear lights, added bilge pump, found windwhield, fabricated all mounting hardware. Rawhides came with it. K-lok wheels. |

Lw: I know your message was not directed to me but I am jumping in Ha ha. I agree that other board is up just to make money for its owners, who ever that is.... If you do a domain record search it states Mike B is still the owner, does not really matter the site has slowly changed.
I know the guys at route66 a bit, I feel they will do a new board without all the bait and revenue tricks. I think some guys will come here, some will stay and many will do both.
I feel the other board is all about racing, their circle of friends and about making money from click-through for the other owners ( who ever that is)
Lets just try to make the new board a nice place with out the drama and slamming of others.

I also notice the other site, allows and seems to encourage slamming of all others who are not in their group. Many slam and spread hate at Richard and most dealers at every opportunity. Kind of funny since he is about the only " old company" left in the 6x6 business. They must not be too bad: Ha ha.
When our new board appears I bet the hatred will really come alive, soon on the other site. Lets all try to ignore this hatred on our new home.
I am sure they will say bad things about us. about our new "small silly" board. I for one hope many of those other guys will stay where they are and enjoy the drama they created.
Lets all try to keep everything nice, in fact if we see messages here that are somewhat off color, lets PM the senders and ask them to be nicer.
Really looking forward with a smile.

We, too, have/had a concern about the other site new owners. I made a post that maybe the reason why they won't identify themselves is because people might not like who it is. An opinion, but the "NO soup for you" came real fast without warning, explanation or even a pm.
Hope we all are not confusing some truth for negativity. Or confuse calling out BS for negativity. Truth will always win in the end. Always does.
Racers just happen to be a group that are very excited about being able to race somewhere again. It was the ATV sub-culture 40 years ago. There is a lot of knowledge in the group that is helpful to a lot of people. Usually because they have broken something at some point. So here again, please don't confuse all racers with people that really aren't doing any racing. They just have LOTS of pics & videos to share and do.
We know very little about ALL the machines produced over the years. It's been sad that some people that want to debate pros & cons for tracks (which we know NOTHING about) get shut down. How is that helping anyone? And if you make something in your garage & want to sell it to a friend, why not? Isn't that where computers started?
This small silly board will be fun again for a lot of hobbyists. I, for one, will still call out BS wherever I am. The old Admin. created his own Frankenstein. At least I don't have to worry about being solicited by Russian, Chinese or other dating sites here.

I got my start on this site Years ago !
Got me to be a dealer for Rec and I had over 12 aatv's at my shop. Some just parts machines. I Met Joe Moan and others from here and sold them parts And Went on Rides at Tower city with them as a Group! All Great Times I will always remember !!!
Joe had a Great site also but he hasn't worked on it for some time ?
I Bought machine from here and sold machine from here. Made Great friends and enjoyed everything on here! This being said Here I am ! |

Research was conducted on the described members. After digging through their previous posts over the past year, and even further, we found their attitudes to be absolutely disgusting. Their behavior has included but is not limited to:
Intentionally causing drama and leading in provocation of members
Slander against both individuals and companies
Numerous displays of pessimism with the intent to impede the transition of forum ownership
Offensive comments directed towards admins for enforcing site rules
Posting false information or gossip and presenting it as the truth
Leading witch-hunts against other members
Promoting manufacturers using inside information while appearing as unconnected
Spamming threads with meaningless, single emoji posts and other irrelevant content
A specific group of members have portrayed their image as being prominent members of the community to justify attacking others. However, at the same they time deleted all their previous posts. This included tech tips, videos, photos, and information. Their behavior served everything but the best interest of the community.

Sorry dirtrobber (p.s. they even got his handle wrong it's dirtDobber not robber) you are correct, these members have been banned from the site. The previous site administration issued countless warnings towards the above users as well as had to delete a staggering number of their posts for breaking the rules. Continuing to our administration, these users have failed to adhere to the site rules and have been a nonstop disruption of the well being of the community (with points listed in the first post). Warnings have been ignored and rather became humerus to this group.
A single announcement deletes room for error in communication on a site with over 14,000 members. Our above statement is harsh, but we stand by our actions in this extraordinary case.
We appreciate everyone's questions and comments. Your input has been valuable in the past, and will continue to be valuable in the future. Our goal is to keep 6x6world a peaceful forum where users can enjoy their stay.
I can't speak for anyone else but I did not get ONE message or email with any type of warning regarding my so-called infractions. |

Hi All
was a member of 6X6 world for years and the guys who have just got banned were all instrumental in me rebuilding my 2000 Max II 2 years ago either directly or indirectly. If this site becomes a little more user friendly,(sorry but 6x6 world is more user friendly) I will drop 6x6 world in a new york second. the wealth of information you all have is 2nd to none.

6x6 Friends:
We have received many phone calls and emails, concerning us supplying a new 6x6 Discussion Board. We have resisted doing one since it such a time consuming monster! But the time has come.
Yes; were in process of setting it up currently, hope to have it up and running in a few days.
It will be fully functioning when presented, but it will be a long term effort to get content posted. It's an entirely new board, will be 100% free with no outside banner ads, no click through ads, no email harvesting and selling and no sponsoring to join. This new board has a new domain address. To be clear its being presented by us, ROUTE6x6, Richard's Relics and 6x6parts.com for you to use and hopefully enjoy.
This current old poorly operating ROUTE6x6 board dates from 1990 and was powered by DISCUS, which has long been out of business. No updates or repairs are available, for this reason this entire board will be deleted after we get the new one running.

It take time to get a board up and running correctly so it will get here as soon as Richard see it is what he want for us to use.

That would be ironic if someone's check bounced, but doubtful. We had only our experiences & gut feeling about so much. Any new facts we are learning right along with all of you.
It doesn't matter anymore. BUT you do learn something new about some people's character everyday. We will not or should make excuses or apologize for people that disappoint us or used us. Hopefully, we learn from it all. |
