Man this is scaring me, just picked up 2004 Max and so far I love it but I have no idea of how to take care of it. I will read all I can here to learn. But I live in Indiana is there a place I can take my Max IV too if need be and I know this problem has been asked and answered befor but I cant seem to find it. It seems that I must pull back really far or forward on my sticks is there a way for me to adjust the controlls so that I dont have to where out my forarms so thanks. also what do you think about the wheel add on kits are they any good 6x6 to 12x12 and man did any one else have a night mare in trying to register there max as a water craft, im being informed that I must have my title state that it is a unknown craft, and I must apply for a hull # and have a conservation officer look it over befor I can be legal.

If you pull your front floor board you will see some rods attached to the control levers with a pin and cotter pin. You can disconnect it there and adjust to have the sticks further forward or backwards.

Under the back seat and floor board there are some springs that will hold tension on the control levers holding them forward. You can loosen the tension on the springs and this will make operating the control levers easier.

The wheel extensions have theei place but I'm not a huge fan of them. They will add additional stress to your drive train. I would concentrate on learning how to drive your Max before making any additions or modifications.

Where is Indiana are you located? There are people around that can assist you with your Max.

The owner of this site, Richard Clark, is in New Albany, Indiana.

A good place is in the rear on the frame rail so it picks up from a chain trough. You don't need two but if you want it would be nice to have a redundant system. I put in the biggest highest volume one I can fit in. A small craft will get swamped quicker than a large boat, so a faster larger pump is better to move the water out asap.

I'm sure there are some borad members in your area, and Richard is just a couple of hours South.

There are two popular places to ride nearby for you. Haspin Acres, and the Badlands. Group rides at these places are held and it is an excellent way to meet others with AATV's.
