The REB was made for a short time in 1987 by REB Ind. Monroe ,La. Kat industries of Bastrop made a few changes and renamed it KAT. Whatever became of the KAt after that I don't know. I have a original REB brochure and also a KAT brochure.

Dave, you need to put the brochures in route 6x6's history banks. It would make for some good reading. Very interesting!

Dave,
Small world. I'm from Bastrop and never knew
they were made there. Wonder if they were
made in the old Cane Cutter boat building. I'll
have to ask around next time I am in town.

A company close to me is making a mini-jeep. It is called a little critter. I do not know if they have a web page yet. I have looked at it, seems solid, chain drive, skid steer, amphibious. I think they said around $4500.00 for a base model. If you want more info, I will try to get it.

That machine is very interesting. Wouldn't it be great if they showed up at the Jamboree or the Ledges ride to show it off.
