I have an opportunity to pick up a "PasseParTout" double track unit. I have never heard of one till now. Can anybody let me know the details on these unit's and maybe their capabilities and value. |

You bet Dm. I have one along with service and part manuals for it. Can you tell me what year yours is or describe it a little more to me. I.e. engine, track width, size. They were made at three different locations over the years. Mine is one of the last made in Michigan. It will ford about 18" water and other than that is nearly unstoppable. Great for climbing over downed trees and brush piles. Search this board for Passe Par Tout and you will find some of my previous discussions. Feel free to e-mail me if you like. I paid $1250 for mine in fair condition.

Hey all. Welcome from the Maine woods. I am looking for information that can help me obtain a service and/or parts manual for a Valcartier Passepartout, roughly early 1970's. I's appreciate any leads! |

I sold the PPT operation to Twin Bay Industries in Michigan in 1980. I still have a lot of parts, and any info you guys may require pertaining to the several generations of machines we built---Bob C |

My dad got me a PPT when I was a kid (20 years ago). It was the best thing in the world. I assume it was built in the late 60's or early 70's. It has a single cylinder Sachs engine and 12” tracks.
The engine blew years ago. I got it working but it has sat in the basement for the past 15 years.
I recently decided to work on it and need some parts.
Does anyone know where I can get parts for the engine, carburetor and tracks? I'm also considering a new engine. Any recommendations?
The manufacturing plate says the following:

i RECENTLY GOT A PPT. SERIAL#801-2 MODEL #171 MOTOR # 5765971 CAN ANYONE TELL ME ANYTHING ABOUT THIS UNIT? i COULD USE SOME SEALS, #DF 30 478/2 A BEARING # L H 00 6300 AND A BEARING # SKF 3 N U 06 Germany LH But any info would be great. Thanks Jeff |

Hi i bought a ppt with no engine so i put in a 440 twin liquid cooled koler and i need a front left drive axle one of the retainer clips cut threw mine then i ended up twisting the last little bit off and im woundering were would i get one |

Al I like your video as I can see how they actually run. I just bought a model 1478 Passe ParTout at a local auction. not running but the rubber wheels and tracks looked in good condition, left the following day to visit family out of state so have not had time to mess with it or take pics.... If anyone has more info on this model would be great.. according to Kohler the engine is a 1974 model K321s
Looking forward to restoring it... I previously drove a couple of Cushman Tracksters when I used to be on a mountain rescue team... at a previous auction I was bidding on a trackster but sold for too much... Think I got a deal on this even if I have to replace the engine... |

Could anyone tell me what I would expect to pay for a Passe Par Tout 12 volt/dc winch model pwh 712. The winch is like brand new doesn't look like it was ever used. Thanks |
