I am beginning the design of a couple of vehicles for my wife and myself. These will be close to mobility scooters but with larger, wider, wheels. I am 78 and had polio as a kid so my legs aren't great, and my wife has artificial hip joints, so getting through malls and large events can be a walking problem. I do have a mobility scooter, but it is for flat ground. We live in the mountains.
If anyone has ideas that might help I could use them. Thanks for reading this.

Will these be just for the mountains or used in the house the mall etc? Do they need to be all elect or can they have a gas powered motor? Do they need to be hauled any where? The specifics of use will determine the design.
