Im interested in locating a couple action age scramblers I sold back in 1997 from lansing Michigan to somewhere down south, possibly Virgina or the Carolinas. One was all white with black racing stripes, gas tank in the back, had a brand new 8 horse briggs, registeration number mc 3468 HE. Most if not all the hubs had nuts and bolts instead of roll pins, had original balloon tires, 2 reflectors on the back
and a 1976 lake arrowhead property owner triangular sticker on the back. The front skid plate was cracked on the front. The engine was mounted to a steel plate and then to the frame to line up the clutches.

The other was red top, white bottom. its a marc XII with the gas tank in the front, was a 12 horse tecumseh, the pop rivet holding the fuel pump bracket in place was drilled out and the fuel pump may have needed replacement. It had a natva sticker and Lake Arrowheard 1976 sticker. It had a 102 inch whip mount and steel plate on the top above the engine. It came with snap on leather seat covers and also had the origianl balloon tires.

2 guys from down south picked them up in a uhaul trailer and blew a tire on either the tow vehicl or uhaul trailer on the way up.

I was only 17 when I sold them but now Im 30 and Im interested in knowing the condition and wherabouts of these scramblers as they have more sentimental value than a 17 year old could understand at the time If anyone knows the possible location of one or both of these scramblers, please contact John Hernly
johnhernly@yahoo.com or dial 517 394-0979 The classified add was originaly placed on the route 6x6 classified adds in 1997. Thanks
