Hey Pete
Weren't you the one telling me you use to ride a lot in Green Ridge? I was on the phone with them today and they told me they don't allow 6 wheelers in there. Yet if you read the DNR's description of the vehices allowed in there the Max fits perfectly, amphibious and low tire pressure vehicle. I'm supposed to call the manager of the park tomorrow morning. Have you ever ridden your 6X6 up there?

Laz,

Really? Sheesh. I rode a lot but only on my klr never the 6 wheeler. I don't see how that's a problem considering they allow all kinds of large jeeps up there and they make a god awful mess. Let me know.

Hey Pete
I called the manager at Rockey Gap yesterday, that's because the Green Ridge office is closed for the winter. He said there is no problem with 6 wheelers at Green Ridge. He said if any one gives me a problem to tell them to call him and he would take care of it. The rangers that told Dona that 6 wheelers weren't allowed in Green Ridge work for him. Boy was I releaved to hear that. Now that I know I can ride up there, does it look like a good place to take a 6X6? You know, places where no Quad would dare to go! Also can you give me some directions to where the trail starts. The guy I spoke to said it's an 18 mile loop.

Brad,

Yes I didn't think that would be a problem and I was surprised that was becoming an issue. There are several places you can get stuck and there are several rivers you can travel accross. The trails start at the begining of the park which you can tack an exit off the main highway and they are right there.
