I was just surfing eBay and found a 2002 Max IV like no other I've seen before. Take a look:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=6726&item=2463507463

Looks normal at first, but all the major parts are on the opposite side they should be. The engine is on the right and the cover matches it. Then check out the dash. The switches are on the right, parking brake on the right, gear shifter on the right, and throttle lever on the left. All opposite from a regular Max IV. This would have to be done at the factory because the engine cover (exhaust port, air vents) was made opposite from all the others. Anyone ever heard of this before?

Brandon, I think someone had pictures made from negatives and had them backwards.

They added a comment at the site about it..

I have a simple graphics editor that can flip a picture horizontally and or vertically. Hehe, bet Brandon was scratching his head

I am told that was RI's latest marketing strategy for selling more Maxs in England. Those people couldn't control their Maxs from the left side of the vehicle. Either that or it's just a cool looking photo error...

Strangely enough, the Max IV on RI's price list is also reversed. Look close and you can see the exhaust exiting the body on the wrong side.

You are right Brandon, I can just barely see the exhaust pipe, but the top of the engine cover is certainly switched.

If you look at the truck in the background of that picture, you can see that its also not right. The Ford badge on the back in on the wrong side I think and the F-150 badge is also switched I think- not 100% sure but it sure looks like it- they do say though that the pics are reversed on the e-bay thing

Hey,
If you guys have any type of picture/graphic editor on your computer you can flip a pic with a push of a button. You can make some really cool looking pics this way.You can eliminate and add things on pics as well.
