I just received the latest "Max Facts" newletter from Recreatives. They have made some nice changes to the Max ATVs and I want to bring everyone up to date.
- New throttle lever with aluminum base will not crack.
- Improved throttle cable has rubber seals to minimize water entry.
- New choke cable has steel shaft rather than plastic for more positive action and durability.
- New tooling results in improved non-slip chain adjusters on the Max II.
- Long life, lubricatable main drive sprockets on all models.
- Improved heavy duty engine stand on 25 and 27hp Max IV models.
- New Euro-style acrylic taillights are more durable.

I see many nice improvements on this list and I was a bit suprised. The new throttle lever and cables have been out for a little while now and they are a huge improvement. I will get details on the improved chain adjusters since this has been an issure on old machines. The lubricatable drive sprockets are interesting. My Polaris 4x4 had this on the main drive shaft. I believe this keeps the splines from getting sloppy.
It looks like the our friends at RI haven't been just sitting around. What do you guys think about these improvements?

One other item is the dump bed on the Buffalo's as well. I have a Max Buffalo truck and I love it, but the dump bed is my dream. I'm very happy to see it in the lineup. Now, to see if it can be retrofitted onto my Buffalo.
