Is anyone familiar with the 4x4 Terra Jet, how well do they perform in and out of the water? Are they a well built machine ? Any input appreciated
Thanks John

shure, i have terra jets, there great in the water, twice as fast as an argo or a max.
but on land there like a barge.
hard to turn,hard to stop.
if you can fix up some better brakes for them they are ok
but trails end up looking like parking lots from the ten point turns.

David, do you still have your TerraJets? What model(s) do you have? My TJ is tagged as a 400E but it has a VA-6 body on it. It's in rough shape at the moment, but I'm gearing up to do some restoration.

Regards,

Sisters, that's neat.

What engines are in your TJs? I have a Tecumseh 16hp. My Jet also has the 3 speed tranny. She's not running right now (hasn't in about 4-5 years) but I hope to get at it over the next few weeks.

There are a couple of us TJ owners here in Canada that have been on the prowl for some manuals. Do you have access to any? I had bought a set in the past from TJ USA in Lousiana, but in moving a couple of times I have now misplaced them. Any help would be appreciated.

I checked your profile and went to your website. Why don't you post a few pics of your Jets? Lots of folks would love to see them, including me.

Regards,

I got your pics. Thanks very much.

My profile wouldn't allow picture uploads either.... or any updates for that matter. Richard finally suggested that I create a new profile which is what I did, and that's what I'm using now.

Regards,
