One difference between an 8 or 6 wheeler and a 4 wheeler is the bottom of the machine.I take my Conquest thru many mud pits that a 4 wheeler could never go thru(the driver would drown).I don't just go thru them I can stop in the middle of them without sinking(unlike a quad).Imagine trying to get a boat stuck in the mud.Yes you can get stuck, but it doesn't matter the depth of the mud if your in a boat.
