Well Virusmutt.

I have had a Honda 200X for 9 years(the last 3 years it had a fresh stroked motor) and had a blast with it. But there is no comparison to riding in my IV-900 with a couple of my friends through mud bogs that I never could get through with my X no matter how fast I was going.

Yeah..I could go fast as hell in my X, but not in the extreme terrain that the MAX is Built for.

My advice to you is sell your MAX and ride your quad.

Comparing a quad to a 6x6 is like comparing a screw driver to a hammer. I have both. A Polaris 500 Sportsman and a 440 cc Trail Boss...different tools for different jobs.

Wow where can I buy one of these machines that can slide sideways with 12" of suspension? You can't ask for a machine that can do more than that!

Death to the king quad

Here's a familiar quad story. One of my friends was riding a 4X4 Kawasaki and tried to climb a steep hill. He started fast and flipped the thing and now is lying in bed with two broken arms, some broken ribs, and a bad headache! Now tell me how safe your quads are, because my suspensionless Argo chews those hills up with no problem. Now I have ridden a couple quads before, and they are fun, but I got board when I had to stick to the trails and worry about flipping em when you go around a muddy corner.

DAMN!!!!!! Phil. NO ONE WANTS TO REPLY TO THAT!
I think you just about covered everything from an AATV standpoint.
When my brother and I were kids, he loved pick-up trucks and I loved exotic sports cars. Two decades later; he bought a Jeep Grand Cherokee and I bought a 94 Convertable Corvette.
Generally people are different (even in the same family) of what they like.

I've been reading most of the posts here at route6x6, especially the arguments on quad bashing. I think Dirty Harry is the Boards' Bouncer. Everytime some knuckle head gets roudy -- Harry sets them straight. I agree with most of his points, and MaxRules sounds like his deputy.

Correction above;
these aren't arguments -- they're discussions.
Some people need to hike up their skirts and be a man about it.

I take it back --- they're arguments!!!
Quads really do suck!!!
