I'm 6'4" 250lbs. which 6x6 will fit me?

I'm 6' with a 34" inseam. My Bigfoot has plenty of legroom for me, but I have to admit that when I was shopping for a 6x6, the MaxII had by far the most legroom of anything else I had looked at. I think it comes with 20hp now. Best thing to do is go ride in everything you can get into and see what fits the best. Ron

I am 6'6 and have a new MaxII. I have plenty of leg
room when I am by myself. It is a little tight with two
people, but it is manageable. I really enjoy my Max II.

i am 6'4" and weigh 300 lbs and have a maxIV.its not roomy but i can drive for hours and have no problem.the only problem sometimes is when i exit it.getting in is easier than getting out.

I am 6'2" and about 235#. I can ride all day long in a Max IV without any problems. It is a little tight with 2 people in the front.

I am interested in buying an Argo in the near future but am not sure if I want the 6X6 or the 8X8. What are the positives and negatives between the two machines. Also ar there any places to ride in Connecticut?

I've owned a Vanguard2 and now have a Response. The 6x6 is easier to transport in a truck bed, and steers around obsticles better. The 8 wheeler has a better ride, is easier to steer, and carries more. (The Bigfoot's engine and shorter length may make it even easier to steer.) I think the 6 wheel has better trim in the water, but the 8 wheel performs better. If you will transport the machine in a truck bed, the 6 wheeler has advantages. If you will carry it on a trailer, the 8 wheeler has advantages. Then there are the price differences.

I miss my six wheeler a lot. But the 8 wheeler has proven to be more useful.

Has anyone tried out the Conquest 6x6. I plan on buying somthing soon but I have yet to read any thing on this machine.

Hi Mark,

I am a Max fan but this may help in the decision making between the 6x6 & 8x8. I remember reading back sometime ago that the 8x8's were getting harder to insure.

Not owning one I don't have first hand experience with the insurance aspect of them but it may be worth looking into in your decision making process.

What about speed. Did you notice a big difference between the two? When you ride with other 6x6ers do get left behind?

A 6x6 is generally faster. Especially the new models such as the bigfoot and conquest 6x6. The bigfoot is an 18 hp vehicle, same as my magnum, but it goes a lot faster, (by about 10 KPH) and it probably has the same gearing ratio. THe 8x8 has the advantage for work because it carries more, but it takes more to turn, manouver in the bush and it takes a little more getting used to. A 6x6 is shorter and takes less to turn and lacks the carrying space an 8x8 does. They both have their advantages and it all depends greatly on what you are planning on using the vehicle for.
