troy, what about the st.joe ride? is it still going to take place,or not? or are you still waiting to hear from the 4 wheeler's? oh and i will be at the deepwater ride. i'll be staying at sparrowfoot again.i think it will still be self pay till mid april.i'll check if you want me to.and if you don't already have the motel #'sgo back to the deepwater post i did in sept. and you can get them there.they were the cheapest at the time, and the only ones offering a discount.

The St. Joe ride is April 5-6. Why plan the Deepwater ride on the same weekend? I was planning to get a few guys to come to Deepwater but I'm going to St. Joe for sure since I want to ride with the quads. I am going to Little Sahara sand dunes two weeks before. If I'm still alive and my machine is in one piece, I'll be at St. Joe.

Mike,
I sent an post for richard to put under events last week, but he hasn't posted it yet. I have all hotel #'s and the campground # on the post. Right now, Super8 will give us a good deal on a hotel room. I will post which one will give us the best deal.

Oh yea Mike,
I am planning on going to St. Joe's park either the 15th & 16th of March or on the 22nd & 23rd. It will not be an offical ride per say. I just want to see if the place would be good enough to have a ride out there. It wasn't that good of a place for 6 wheelers, but I heard they have done some changes to the trails and we would like it. Let me know what weekend would be good for you.

Here is the post I sent to Richard to put under events. If anyone has any questions, just contact me by email or at our 800#, 1-888-545-5713. Thanks.

Midwest ATV's is having the first DEEPWATER ride on April 5th & 6th. We will be planning on a night ride on the 5th and maybe a night ride on the 4th if enough show up a day earlier. If you never been to Deepwater, you should come. It has it all from water, mud, hills, more mud and mud. Did I tell you there will be a lot of mud there? As always, I will be bringing my fishing poles to do some fishing each morning before the rides. Brings yours and we can so some good fishing there. The rides will start @ 9:00 am on Saturday the 5th and @ 10:00 am on Sunday the 6th. No rules so you don't have to have a flag or helment.

the quads at st. joe have not seen any aatv's. i think it would be good experience for them to see aatv's at work.there are plenty of six-wheelers in missouri .

Top of pagePrevious messageNext messageBottom of pageLink to this message   By mike martindale (Wetsu) on Unrecorded Date: Edit

troy, right now the 15th-16th are about my best times to be there. i need to get some new tires on an old trailer i just got.i also need some details on the locacation of st.joe, camping and such.
for now it will be just me,so i need to know whether to bring the tent or the camper.if there are plenty of 6 wheelers in mo.then will any of them show up for this "this non-official" ride?
oh,how big is this place?if it's under 50 acres,i won't come,i went to a place in lawrence,ks took me 45 min's to ride the whole thing.and that was dodging dirt bikes and 4 wheelers.took me longer to get there than it did to ride. i guess deepwater has spoiled me.

Top of pagePrevious messageNext messageBottom of pageLink to this message   By mike martindale (Wetsu) on Unrecorded Date: Edit

oh by the way troy i will definately be at the deep water ride.i will be there fri. nite. stop by the campgrounds,if your going to do a night ride,or just look for me in the dark. eh eh eh.
i built a new crappie rod over the winter for the argo, maybe they will be biting.( the crappie not the argo's ) ba haha.

Hey Mike,
Got bad news. I forgot about a fishing tournament I have on the 14th & 15th. I can make it to St. Joe's for the 16th. Would you be able to make it on the 22nd? Yes this place has more then 25 acres. I think it has like 2500 acres, but half is sand dunes. I have been told that they added more trails in the wooded area. I have rode there about 15 times in the past and haven't hit every trail yet. Just before, the trails were big enough for a car to go over. Now they have some nice trails including a hill that no atv has made it up so far. At least that is what I was told. We will try it or at least I might. I will try to get the website for this place for you.

Top of pagePrevious messageNext messageBottom of pageLink to this message   By Midwest atv's #1 since 2000 (Hustler) on Unrecorded Date: Edit

Mike,
The website for St. Joe's state park is http://www.mostateparks.com/stjoe.htm
Everyone will need a helmet and flag for their atv. It looks like they now have 2000 acres of wooded trails and 800 acres of sand flats. The new trails are all around Apollo Lake area. Can you make it on March 22nd & 23rd?

This is not an offical ride, but anyone that wants to come let us know. If this is as good as I have been told, I may have an offical ride there. Just want to make sure it is good enough to have a ride there.

Anyone in the ontario region-- Anyone interested in riding for a while on this upcoming weekend on the Bruce Penninsula (North of Wirtown ( home of the groundhog)) I will be up this weekend. YOu will definatly need tracks as there is a ton of snow in most places. I don't know where their are trails to ride, but who cares. The backroads aren't plowed anymore so they are open.

well I just requested time off work , taking off the 3rd to the 9th , should give me plenty of time for fun . which hotel on that list gives the best deals. What is the weather suposed to be like up there . Are there lots of bugs ?

Top of pagePrevious messageNext messageBottom of pageLink to this message   By Midwest atv's #1 since 2000 (Hustler) on Unrecorded Date: Edit

Right now Dakota, super8 is giving us the best deal. We got a 2 room suite with hot tub for $68 night. I will post soon about which one will give us the best deal. Weather should be chilly in the mornings, around 50 to 55 degrees and warm up 10 or 15 degrees during the day. Should be lots of mud there, so plan on maybe getting muddy. You shouldn't have any problems with bugs. Any other questions, let me know.

Top of pagePrevious messageNext messageBottom of pageLink to this message   By dakota on Unrecorded Date: Edit

sounds great. what kind of town is Clinton ? Am i going to have to dissassemble my aatv and sleep with it in my room , or can i leave it on my trailer with out worry . is there any nightlife , or at least an active bar. i have never even been up into Montana before

Top of pagePrevious messageNext messageBottom of pageLink to this message   By mike martindale (Wetsu) on Unrecorded Date: Edit

dakota, i was down there a couple of weeks ago.since el ninyo has been pushing all the moisture down to the deepwater area there should be plenty of mud. as far as bugs....they are to skeered to go there, ba haha.fraid they might get run over.but just in case you might want to bring a can of OFF,or it's equivilent.if you stop to close to any body of water,or walk off in the grass the ticks and skeeters will carry you away.
keep in mind that was last year, and we have had a pretty mild winter, temps for the last 3 days,,,lows in the 20's highs in the upper 40's.and rain for this weekend.
troy, the 15th-16th were the best dates for me.the 22nd would be to close to the deepwater ride and i don't think i could do both.between taking time off from work and my wife,( she don't really like my playing much ).i would much rather go to d.w.,but i do want to check out this st.joe park.i have some friends up that way that wanted to come out so i may go ahead and go for the 15th-and 16th.i'll know more after i check out the web site.and besides i want to see this hill where no atv has gone before.of course this all depends on if i can find new tires for an oooold trailer.a 6.70x15 isn't real common around here.i'll keep you posted. mike/wetsu

Top of pagePrevious messageNext messageBottom of pageLink to this message   By Midwest atv's #1 since 2000 (Hustler) on Unrecorded Date: Edit

Dakota,
You shouldn't have to worry about your atv out in the open in Clinton. I have been going there for the past 4 years and my Dad will not camp out. We stay in town in a Hotel everytime and never had a problem with anything. As far as night life, I don't know if they will have any bars open late. I do know that we try to have a bon-fire either Friday or Saturday night. There will be a bunch of guys that camp out. Hint hint, bring the firewood for a bon-fire guys.

Mike, how about the weekend before the 15th & 16th? I should have that weekend open. If not, then I might just go down there some day during the week or for just one day to check out the place.

Dakota,
I can tell you if you like mudding, you will love Deepwater. There are a couple of spots that no one can get through.

Top of pagePrevious messageNext messageBottom of pageLink to this message   By mike martindale (Wetsu) on Unrecorded Date: Edit

dakota, yes clinton has bars.don't know how many for sure.who needs a bar when you got 3 coolers of beer.cw,me and a buddy of mine will be in the b loop at sparrowfoot.should get there fri. nite.
troy,if your talking about where i think you are.....you might be able to float thru it.i slid across it 3 weeks ago, once, just once.broke thru the ice on round 2.( sure glad i got that winch).as far as st.joe.why don't you go ahead and check it out,and let me know.i did get new tires for the trailer, and repacked the bearings.i hope this thing will be road worthy.it is rather old.take off the rust and add a little paint,it might be worth a hundred bucks.should be big enough for the ARGO and firewood.

Top of pagePrevious messageNext messageBottom of pageLink to this message   By Roger Smith on Unrecorded Date: Edit

"i hope this thing will be road worthy"
LOL, well the ride's only an hour from Mike's house...

I'll be there, in the "loop". That means camping at Sparrowfoot where all the fire, food, drink and refinement is :)

Top of pagePrevious messageNext messageBottom of pageLink to this message   By mike martindale (Wetsu) on Unrecorded Date: Edit

cw,and anyone else that might be interested, sparrowfoot will still be in the non-peek time.in other words it will only cost 6 bucks per day to camp.and it is self pay.or you can reserve a site.which also means no showers available unless you bring your own.
i plan on bringing enough firewood to have a pretty good sized fire.any and all are welcome to come and tell some of your best,or worst stories.
troy i know your dad won't camp, but will he come to the campground?and do plan on a night ride?and i did tell kasey, and he is supposed to tell a few others about the ride.i got 1 more guy i want check with to see if he can make it.another dealer in northern mo.

Top of pagePrevious messageNext messageBottom of pageLink to this message   By Midwest atv's #1 since 2000 (Hustler) on Unrecorded Date: Edit

Mike,
My dad will come stop by the campgrounds for a little camp fire and stories. That is if he feels like it. Last year, he was only able to ride Sat and just Sun mornings, if you remember. He can't ride for 2 full days with the sun out. If he doesn't get worn out Sat, he will stop by that night for a little fun. Yes I do plan on having a night ride Sat night.

Top of pagePrevious messageNext messageBottom of pageLink to this message   By cw3 on Unrecorded Date: Edit

Thanks for the info on the campground. We are totaly self sufficient, we carry alot of water.
Enough for about 4 days of camping, with the wifie and me.

How many machines are going to this event ?
Anybody have a count. Just curious, the more the merrier. Put on a winch this last fall, wanna see if it works. Happy mudding.....Craig

roger,i hope your refering to the trailer.as far as refinement, buddy that ain't soda-pop in those coolers.( hic )lol.you got everthing else right.and by the way it is an hour and a half from my house.and if it was farther than that,it would still be worth the trip(just my opinion).
troy, with any luck it will be like your ride in aug.rain in a.m.then cloudy the rest of the day.and if your dad gets over done we can find some kind of shade, for him.i know the ride is still over a month away, but they have been getting the moisture down there.and that means muuuuuuuud bud.since i got the time off anyway,if i don't go to st.joe i might go to d.w.just to see how muddy it is and i'll let you know.

Hello everyone. Looks like the Super8 hotel will be giving us the best rates for what they have to offer. If you plan on staying at a hotel, call Super8. Just tell them that you will be staying there for the "Midwest ATV Jamboree ride at Deepwater". They will give you a discount.

Right now, looks like we have about 16 to 18 atv's commited to be there.

Hey Matt and Jon, are you guys going to make the long trip for Deepwater?

Top of pagePrevious messageNext messageBottom of pageLink to this message   By matt435 on Unrecorded Date: Edit

Bud and Troy, I do not know of anyone in our riding group that plans on going to Deepwater. It is a 12 hour drive to Deepwater and only a 3 hour drive to Attica. I am sure when you have the Attica rides we will all be there. I Would like to make it down to a Deepwater ride again but I am unable to get away from the shop for a 3 or 4 day weekend right now. Matt

I know what you mean matt. That is the same reason we haven't made it to the ride in NY. Can't get away from the shop and have it closed for 4 or 5 days. I am still trying to get ahold of the owner from the Badlands on setting a date. I think it will be May 17th & 18th for the first ride.

i'll be arriving at spafoot fri. evening.i'll set up camp, and get the argo ready to ride that night....hell the bigfoot is ready to ride NOW.AND SO AM I.see you then.

troy, glad to hear that.i will be in the b-loop,around,or in the same place i was in dec.i should be there between 5-6 p.m. friday night.which ever you decide...i'll bring the minnows.i did take off my rollcage(temporarily),to make the fishing easier.like i said i built a new crappie rod and can't wait to try it out.oh and i do have plenty of oil,and cornmeal(my own recipe)to fry up all those fish.so we,or you better catch a bunch,eh eh eh.

I found a battery for $30.17 with tax. You know, I've had my eyes open for a while when passing by the battery racks, and havn't seen one that exact size. Called a local battery shop and messed with his head, "what's the battery fit?" so I told him, LOL. Anyway, I gave him the 45-50 group #, he said he had new and "blem's". I said what's a blemished battery? It's one that's sat a year on the shelf unsold. Turns out this 45-50 group battery fits older Honda's. Ahh, that's where I've seen them before...

Looking forward to getting out of town and into the woods! Will try to get down early enough Friday to ride or fish with you guys.

I bet you were a muddy mess, Mike. So it wasn't dusty? :) Lot's of rain in Tulsa heading that way right now.. looks encouraging.

Bought a mini tire changer from Harbor Freight, and pulled off all the tires to fix slow leaks.. no wonder, a lot of mud/dirt on the bead where it seats. The mini changer is a little light for the job, might last if not too rough with it..

that tire changer ought to come in real handy.i think changing eight of those runnamucks could be considered rough.ha ha.if their anything like the rawhides to get off.

I don't know where to post this, so I am posting it here.

I just found out today that a bunch of my friends from the 1st Marine Division, 1st Force Recon Company, Camp Pendleton California are the first group that moved on the ground this morning towards Iraq. I kinda knew they would be called for duty during this war, but I guess now that I know they are there and fighting as I type, and all day, it is hitting home a little. I bleed with some of these guys back in 85 & 86. Man I wish I could be there with them guys.
Please say a pray for them, all other Military, and their families.

The Service members prayer:

Heavenly Father,
grant a courageous heart,
a quick mind,
and a serene spirit
to those now in our armed forces,
ready to offer their talents,
and if necessary their lives,
for the cause of truth, justice and liberty.
Keep them close to you
in every way.
Make them always,
even in these difficult circumstances,
true witnesses to your
goodness, love and compassion.
And finally, bring them safely back
to their homes and families. Amen

Thank You

hey troy,
i got 2 more possibles, 1 for sure riders will be there sat. morning.and i will be there fri. morning,to get us a good spot at spafoot.
if by any chance anyone coming to the ride has a fire ring.....if you can bring it we can have one hell of a fire, fri. nite or sat.the ones the spafoot provide aren't real good for big fires.it seems you can't get the grill out of the way.i was going to get one,but cabela's was sold out,and it would not get here in time for the ride.
also, everyone that is coming....you ought to bring a raincoat.since the forcast for sat.is calling for rain."which means it will probably rain sun." anyway promises to be great riding FOR 6 WHEELERS,i'm sure we will all get a chance to remove a few 4 wheelers from their"pardon me but it appears that i can no longer continue on in my forward direction, could you PLEASE assit me in my travels"? baaaaaa haa haa.( no offense to you 4 wheel owners)snicker, snicker,eh eh eh eeh.also, i just watched the forecast for this weekend.....highs in the 60's sprinkles for sat.rain for sun.fri.will be in the 80's.now keep in mind it is only mon.and all of these forecast's are subject to change, and i'm sure they will.anyway, see you all this weekend, the first, and probably the second fire are on me.

craig,if you are going to arive thurs.go to the B-loop.as you come in,you will take a left off the main road.....the road will curve to the right.then take your first right after that..back to the west towards the restrooms.and that is where i'll be fri.morning.most of those sites have electric.and a few have water spiguits next to the sites.

I just wanted to say thanks for all who showed up this past weekend. I had a blast even if the weather wasn't that good.

If anyone has film or pictures of the ride, if you would, send me a copy and I will pay for it. Just email me and I will give you my address.

Craig, your statement that you made, Craig(the one on the big green monster), you forgot to also add loud. It should be Craig, the one on the big loud green monster.

Whoohoo. That was fun, even if a little wet and cold Sat nite an Sun Morning. Camping by lakeshore makes for strong winds. Turns out I have today/monday off so there was no need to hurry home. Thanks to Mike for the HUGE campfires.

Craig... 60 or 80 pics? Wish you could thumbnail and post them on webspace. I guess my 56k would get them all eventually if you emailed 'em. I want to get a video capture card to turn analog camcorder tape into CD video format for Rick and I.

Was great to see everyone, had a great time. I entertained everyone with a slight bloody mary overindulgence. Got stuck in some deep ruts, someone was pulling me with no progress. Henry, making counterclockwise gestures with his fingers says "hey Roger, I think your wheels are turning the wrong direction. That was a lot more diplomatic than saying "you idiot, your're in reverse!" Got stuck about 10 feet later, had another person anchoring the winch with no progress. Wait a second, one of the parking brakes is set.. ok that helped taking the brake off :) Later I showed some redeeming social value by hauling a 4 wheeler accident victim to the ambulance. Those EMT guys had their excitement for the day, I imagine. I didn't cut 'em much slack on the ride in :) Didn't tell them not to worry when I drove off in the water, hehe. I just said "Gentlemen, you're riding in a skid steer vehicle which locks up one side and pushes the ass end around, so hang on with both hands.

Craig and everyone.. rogersmith3@mindspring.com

Hey everyone, hope all made it home safe.Man I love that place.I had a great time. And enjoyed meeting the new faces and seeing the others I've met before. Thanks Mike{Wetsu} for teaching me something new this weekend,Getting the tire back on the rim with out getting all muddy trick. It's great.Fun getting hounding by some while getting the water out of the tires.Only time I got pulled out of hole was when I knocked front and rear tires off rims at the same time. Thanks again wetsu that was agly mud in that hole.I wished that someones only video footage of me I seen wasn't that though. But it takes two flats to stop the bigfoot.Roger and Craig it was good to see and ride with you's again. And I would of posted when I got home Sunday around 5:30 but loved taking a hot shower for a hour,And just wanted to lay down and sleep,But my woman wasn't going to leave me alone. So i went to Lovin'ville b-4 I past out to the world.Still tired today but Don't worry about me.Rick

Roger, I don't know you at all other than on the boards, but I would have paid big money to see you that night. Sounds like maybe one too many bloody maries and should have been one more ride where the drink took place. Anyways, no harm done, as long as it wasn't you that caused the 4 wheeler accident. I'll tell you one thing though, when it comes to ability, ARGO or whatever you were driving sure has it. Being able to help out the paramedics, in conditions like that, Im sure they really appreciate it and the injured guy also if he/she knew what was happening.

momo tire blower, hehehe,i do have you on tape, and with all 6 tires on the rims.and i got a feeling you didn't make it through that shower alone,(wink wink giggle giggle).tell your lil' sweetie that dave still wants to meet her sisters,(his words not mine).by the way i found my way to lovinville late sunday night.i really hated to get up monday morning to go to work.oh and tell mark i got some of him too,"on video"that is.and if i recall those 2 flats didn't stop the bigfoot, just slowed it down a little.after all that was some "pretty angry mud"waiting for you.and you whooped it.all argo owners would be proud.
craig, that was 1 of the coolest( big green monsters) i've seen in a long time, and i hope to see it again.i hope you get that water prob taken care of....i want to see the "monster" in the water.
roger my friend, next time bring a bigger jug.i could have used a little of the "mary" sat.morning.oh, and sun.morning.but the "stones" helped after awhile.i wish i would have gotten the whole rescue op.on video,i guess i need to buy another battery.30 min.battery,90 min.tape go figure.the tape i got i'm going to give to kasey, and he's going to use it for a promo.( i wonder if i can get any money for this?).as for getting stuck.....i think this was the first time i saw you do it.
dakota,as i hate to save you for last,i was glad to meet you,and hope you had a good time.sorry you didn't make any of the night rides, but i know you did come a long way.and for a while that was sure 1 clean, blue argo.last time mine was THAT clean was the day i bought it.hope to see you again,as well as all of you.this was the best ride i ever attended,(out of 4).thanks for making my 6wheeling experience worth while.these are memories that will stay with me forever.

Yeah, Dakota came a long way, wish Sunday had been decent for him too. I'd like to do the Rubicon in California, which isn't to far from him. A nice overnite trip, fill the wheelers up and camp in the wilderness.

Spring sure is great, my argo sits in the back yard most of the year, esp when the trailer was loaned out. When summer gets here, the boat seems to be the relevant vehicle. I'd like to ride.. well I AM going to do deepwtaer again this Spring. Probably a short notice thing.. when it's been wet and *ahem* a good weather weekend is forecast :)

Also, Henry's on Beaver Lake, Ark. and wants to ride the Ozarks before it gets hot.

ooh roger....i talked to kasey tonight, and he's thinking the samething.1,2,3 more rides in the next month.he said he had to much fun, and that we should do it again.you know if you let that argo sit to long that you offend the god of aatving.and that ain't a good thing(i know this to be true).and i'll keep you up to date on the "ahem"weather.
rick, how bout it?you up to another ride next month? either before,or after the badlands ride.nothing special, just a few of us getting together and riding.get with mark and let me know.no pressure,no obligation.
troy,i know you'll have a lot going on,getting the badlands ride going and all...but give it a thought.after all the more the merrier.
now keep in mind this all hinges on wether or not i sell the ol'WETSU.my bigfoot.
roger, you just let us know when, and i'll be there.

I've rode twice since Deepwater, a 30 and a 5 mile trip.. one was a mild mini deepwater like area, the other on the banks of the Arkansas.

Hey, Deepwater will have showers this time. I want Rick to bring his tapes and we'll watch them on the projector in camp !

Mike, I had a short day Monday and my tire changing brotherlaw was over my house. So we pulled all tires off rims and clean out the ones that had mud and muddywater in them. He brought over a couple of tubes for the front tires.Bigfoot happy!!It hasn't been all tires even cents 10 hours.I'm 90 something now.He said that the tubes will fix the knocking off the bead problem. He gave me some valve stems and said;If I need to I could pull new steam in rim and plug holes if needed.Air up and have more fun that day or weekend,& Take care of tube later. So i got something done that I've been wanting to do for a while.:} I want to get yours and Rogers video footage from deepwater on my tapes too. sometime..Be Muddin with ya's Later,Rick

i'm going to check the classifieds to see if richard got the wetsu in it yet.these 15 hr work days are taking there toll on this old fat guy.i'll talk to you later. mike/wetsu

That's good, Rick, bet you feel good having the tires in shape.

I've been talking about video, but I havn't taken any myself. I do have a sony 8mm and plan to get it in a trip soon. Craig has some video, he said 12 minutes..

Mike, you probably know they make 12volt converters to run camcorder off the cigarette lighter. That's what I do instead of buying batteries. I bought a small $10 motorcycle battery, about 5x4x3". Stuck it in an army surplus belt and hike the backcountry for days, never run out of power for the camera.

mike surprising enoph a camera firmly atached to your vehicle will take a good picture,
i did try to video from a headband camera in 2001 at petes spring fling, it turnd out to be the only work of mine to be readely compaired to the work of alfred hitchkock!
most noatably virtigo! heh heh heh
but shock and dust will kill a camcorder in an average of 3 hours expoture to the elements!
tim okeefe killed one in 2000,and i killed 2 in 2001, this past weekend at petes 2003 spring fling i killed yet another camcorder,
i realy liked that one too!
i still got enoph to make a good video from the event,
as for batteries myself i have bin useing aa batteri packs for my juce but am concidering the move to lead acid batteries too.

david,if i trash my video camera my youngest daughter will never talk to me again(which if i think about now may not be a bad thing).she almost had a fit when she found out i had it to begin with.but i do want to get some better filming, and it's alittle hard to hold the camera, and the sticks at the same time.but i'll sure be thinking about what you said when i go again, maybe something low profile, enclosed in a ziplock bag, maybe.
well roger, deepwater just got another 3/4's of an inch of rain last night.and should get more sat.,and sun.according to our weather guys.oh and richard got my bigfoot posted on the classifieds today.....so we might want to start thinking SOON,about riding.and don't leave me out of the OK.riding, unless your friend doesn't want his land completely rearranged.and as far as my seals, they should arrive tommorrow, and will be installed sat.
craig,i'm glad to hear your a 9 wheeler now,but can you float yet? and if not ,don't worry about it we'll make due.and you bring that VCR.and we will make 1 hell of a movie.
and as for any body else that might be reading this thread, all are welcome to attend, when ever roger sets a date( hint hint).if thats ok with you roger?i know for some this is a long trip but if you got nothing else to do what the heck.i do believe if we want to keep this sport alive we need to ride, where we can,and when we can.just to keep up the exposure of 6 wheelers, and lets not forget about you 8 wheelers.even if,and when i sell my bigfoot, i will not forget about this site or the people that i have met and posted with.and when i get another atv,it WILL be an AATV.but i'll save that for another post.hey roger ,craig ,momo, troy, maybe we can call this my almost farewell ride.what do you think?

As far as setting a date for Deepwater, I don't want to do that very far in advance, I'd rather wait till I see a wet weekend coming.. but you guys feel free to set whatever you like. I know not everyone likes a trip on 4 day notice. This weekend looks wet, LOL. Want to run up there Sat afternoon? Next week looks fairly dry.. probably be a great weekend though. It's the dust I don't like, as much for the machine as my nose. But we could wait forever for a wet weekend, I don't want to hold up a group trip with my preferences.
