Hey guys, I am trying to get a big bash at the BadLands in Attica Indiana this April. I am thinking of having it open for all atv's. That way we can show the quads that they have no chance to go where we can go. I was up there this past summer and they have all kinds of terrain up there. I will be getting something together in the next month or so. I want to make this the biggest ride ever. I want you guys to tell me what you want and what it will take to get you to come. I am also looking for sponserships to help with the ride. please post and let me know. Thanks,
The Hustler

Last year atv magizine had a ride in soulth america I think some one should go on this with a 6x6. it is a 1200 mi ride acrost the country through swamp after swamp it showes every atv getting stuck. it took a day for a tractor to pull all them out.

Count me in. I've never been to the Bad Lands. It looks like they have some good six wheeling terrain. I saw in a magazine that they have a big drain pipe you can drive through and jump your ATV in a shallow lake.

The BADLANDS---GOOD, BAD, AND UGLY

Let us know the weekend in April. We'll be there unless I have to work. BADLANDS! The GOOD, BAD, AND THE UGLY.
GOOD: We (Roger and Bonnie) went to the Badlands the end of last July. At 30 minutes in, I believe on the Green Trail, we were stuck. A humbling experience. This was the first time we'd ever been stuck. We were on a small hill with a very steep incline, all 6 wheels turning and no forward motion. The land is not just dirt but small chips of rockshale from what we could figure out. Some areas seem to be 12 to 18 inches deep in the tiny rock. All six wheels spun their way down into the tiny pieces of rock. It was lots of fun. We sort of guarded where we went for that day as we were running alone. It will be even more fun if you can get a group together. You don't have to worry so much about getting stranded out by yourselves.

BAD: The folks at the Bandlands would not permit us to go where the jeeps were on that day. The jeeps have a separate area.

UGLY: We rolled the front right tire for the 1st time ever while almost laying on the right side. As it turned out Bonnie had just got out to take pictures.

Oh, by the way be sure to let everyone know that they must wear helmets at the Badlands. Lookup the Badlands on the net to find out all their rules, etc.

We really want to come. We had a ball and it will be even more fun with a group. Keep us posted.

We live about 25 miles from the Badlands. We have a lot of fun there. Please let us know when you all go. We do want to go also. From our experience it is better to go on a weekday than a weekend. We went on Memorial day. There were about 500 plus people there. We have gotten stuck everytime we have been there. That is why we bought a winch. If we don't get stuck we are not trying hard enough.

My girlfriend says that Ladys are welcome also.

You are correct in that it would be less congested on a weekday than a weekend. I guess anyone interested needs to let this chat page know when they can make it. We would not be able to go on a weekday because we would have to work. Also coming from the southern end of the state it would have to be a weekend event for us. We'd stay at a motel in Crawfordsville and go out on Sat. and Sun. I think work will possibly hold up most of the adventurers. Unfortunately we have to have an income to go out and play. What a bummer. Look forward to meeting new friends and riding for fun with you. Happy Holidays

We have the April weekend marked on our calander. We plan to be there unless my husband has to work. We don't know for sure until the Thursday before the weekend. If the Hot Mill is running he will have the be there since he is the Process Technical Leader.
Look forward to meeting you and any others that show up. Roger and Bonnie

We are changing the date to the ride at the BadLands to June 2 & 3. I got a call from the owner and he is having the superLift Truck Nationals there that weekend. I didn't want to compete with the Trucks. Please if you can attend plan on having a bunch of fun there. Hope to see you in June.
