JUST WONDERING HOW MANY PEOPLE ARE STAYING BOTH DAYS AND IF WE ARE GETTING A DISCOUNT LIKE THE LAST RIDE? I PLAN ON STAYING BOTH DAYS AND HAVE RESERVATIONS AT A CAMPGROUND BUT IF NO ONE IS STAYING BOTH DAYS I DONT WANT TO RIDE BY MYSELF. IF ANYONE IS STAYING AT THE CAMPGROUND NORTH OF ATTICA, I BELIEVE IT IS PINE VILLAGE , LET ME KNOW THAT IS WERE I AM STAYING AND IM GONNA HAVE A BON FIRE SATURDAY NIGHT IF ANYONE WANTS TO COME.

Many people will be staying both days. I know several who are along with myself and those from Midwest ATVs. Sunday will be just as much fun as Saturday!
We will not get the passenger discount this time. Instead we get two days for the price of one, $15 (reg price $20).
I haven't heard who is staying at the campground but many of us are staying in a hotel.

John, I will be there both nights and I have campground reservations also! I am not sure of the name but I think it is the same one. About 8 miles north? Matt

There should be a lot of people staying for both days. We plan on giving out the door prizes on Saturday around 1:00pm. When you get to the park, make sure you contact someone from Midwest ATV's and we will give you a ticket for the prizes. We will have some nice prizes for the ones that show up. See you there.

ArgoGeru,
My wife Suzie and I originally planned to stay both days but something came up so we may only stay for Saturday. We will however stay in our motel Saturday night so the bonfire sounds interesting if your campground allows visitors. Does anyone like country music? If so maybe I'll bring my acoustic guitar to the campfire. I'm sure looking forward to the ride and meeting some of the people who post on this board. It ought to be a good time.

the campground is pine village and is off state rd. 55 on 200E. the campground said it was about 8 miles from the badlands if i remember correctly. not feeling good at all about new york and dc today still in shock, these sons of bitches are not going to get away with it. might get called back to active duty. I think this trip will be good for all of us to keep it of our mind.Every one up here is going out on a nut at the gas stations, they were all lined up for two blocks, I hope the same is NOT happening in every one else' communities.

If the campground will let you have a bonfire, maybe we can all pitch in and have a little party with food and drinks. Its a little late to let everyone know about it, but we can tell everyone that shows up on Saturday.

I would like to thank all the people that showed up for this ride last weekend. I think we all had a blast.

I want to also give a special thanks to Becky Orr for all the stuff that she donated and to John & Joe, RI reps that also showed up for the ride and for the stuff that they donated. Between Becky, RI and Myself, we had enough prizes that everyone that got a ticket, won at least 2 prizes.

Also want to thank John for the bon fire Saturday night. Sorry for getting there a little late, but we had a great time there.

The final tally was 48 6x6's showed up and 8 quads. We had a bunch that had to cancel at the last minute, but I think we had a great turn out.

I hope everyone had a great time this past weekend.

Its monday and the ride is over, thanks to bud and troy of midwest atvs and greg and becky orr for the door prizes and troy for organizing the event it was a blast. some of us were talking about a ride the first weekend of november at hespin acres and are looking for imput on who all would be interested. the badlands is a great place to ride and it seemed it was in a good location for everybody. from what i heard we had people from every direction within four hours or so and a few a little farther. for those who didnt see us running down the dune into the pond you missed quite a show. myself and matt got to pull out a quad a piece, for some reason they thought they could swim to but to no avail they sunk and we helped them out. i am sure their is gonna be some good pictures on pretty soon so keep your eyes out. later!

Wow! How nice it was to spend such a beautiful day with fun off-road riding friends! It was so nice seeing everyone!
Just sorry we didn't get to say good-bye to everyone!

The best part was seeing everyone again and getting to meet Brandon! What a nice young man! I wish more guys his age would get out and enjoy the outdoors like he does! Hope we get to ride with everyone again soon!

We took a vote on the way home. We think Matt, John, Ron and Nancy like to have the most fun in the Mud! It is just fun watching them!

How about a great big "THANKS" to Bud and Troy for all their hard work and donations! Thanks for letting us take part!
Thanks guys!
The Orr's
Gregg and Becky

Gee.....You guys are making me so sad and pissed off that my wife and I couldn't be at this ride!! Doesn't anyone have a gathering out on the west coast?? Well that does it! Next year we're there! Glad to hear there were no major accidents or injury. :) But certainly post more about the trip! I need to know what to expect next year....what to bring.....who to look out for.... hehehe :) I'm pretty sure we might get the "Who traveled furthest award!"

I hope this finds all of the riders home safe. As far as I'm aware we had Indiana, Illinois, Missouri, Oklahoma, New York, Ohio and Michigan covered pretty well. Anyone from other states?

The rides were really great on both days. I think I enjoyed Sunday ever bit as much as Saturday, if not more.

Since the Saturday night partiers were a little detained on Sunday morning, we took off with Jean and Scott and really had a ball. Got ourselves into a couple of tight spots, but everything worked out great and we had a ball. We we went to the pudding hole with a bunch of you around noon time. After you guys split for lunch we played in the hole for another 45 minutes to an hour. First, Jean rode with Roger so I could get some pictures and then Roger and I played in the mud while Scott took pictures. I decided with the roll bars I could stand on the seat and get the Argo rocking more for the slow walk out of the pit. I guess it worked. Roger got out without a tow both times. It was really fun.

Of course after you get all muddy you need to run through the watering hole to clean off some. We got into a water fight with Scott and Jean. Our vehicles were taking on water from the waves and we were almost soaked to the bone, from head to toe. Then we got Matt and his partner in crime into the game. Matt got Roger and myself real good. We had jumped in to splash Jean and Scott and Matt come in immediately behind us. He definitely finished us off. We could ring water out of our clothes. It was fun. We pulled the plugs and loaded up for the 4 hour trip home. I think there was water still running out when we pulled into the driveway.

Alan(Albo) and Suzie, we now know who to have lead when we want to get to a new location quickly. What a speed demon. We should call you TAZ. We look forward to our next chance to ride with you.

This time Brandon had plenty of dare devels to run with. That was great.

Tom and Treva, we enjoyed the ride time and talk time with you, and dinner on Saturday night. I hope your trip home went better than while you were on the way to the Badlands. We can't wait until we see you again at the Humphrey's ride next August. Be careful about those ice cream deserts. They need to be taken in moderation.

Thanks to Midwest ATV's, Recreative Industries, and to all of the Orr's for the generous gifts given away in the drawings.

I think I've rattled on long enough. Simply, it was a blast and we look forward to seeing each and every one of you again.

Bill, I don't know where you live, but we also do a couple rides each year @ deepwater, MO. If you live on the west coast, this would be closer for you. I think the farest person out west that showed up for the badlands ride has to be John and his Mother & Father. They drove up from Oklahoma. Thats a lot for you guys making it to all 4 of our big rides this year. I promise we will come down by your place some weekend to ride also. I really don't know who drove the farest, you guys or John and Joe from RI in NY. I think we had people from 9 different States last weekend.

Let me know about the ride in Nov. I don't know if I can make it, but I will try. I have a few hunting trips planned in Nov and if I am off that weekend, you can count on me and maybe my dad. He can't ride when it is really cold. Let us know.

I have a couple questions for all who attended the last ride I had @ the Badlands.

1) I think everyone had a great time this last ride, but what would make it a better ride?

2) Would you like me to have one or two rides there a year or more?

3) If you would want me to have more then one ride, when would you want them? I was thinking beginning of April and middle of Sept.

I plan on talking to the owners of the Badlands soon and also plan on talking to a few atv magazines to maybe cover one or more rides for me next year to put in there magazine. I also want to start planning on the rides so I can get more donations for door prizes and maybe some Corporate sponsership. I would like to give out awards for the person who drove the longest to the ride, the fastest aatv, etc. I would also like to have a night ride. Please give me some input.
Thanks
Troy
