Hello everyone. We am planning on our first ride the weekend of April 3 & 4. We would like some feed back on where everyone would like to have it. The past 6 years our spring fling has been at Deepwater and we have always had a nice turn out. Most people from Illinois and East of there say its to far. Now we have another option, Rockport Off Road park, in Rockport, IL. A few show up for a little ride back in Oct and everyone likes the place. I would like to know from all the riders, which place would be best for you. I will have rides at both places during the year, but I would like to let you the riders pick the place for the first ride. You can either reply here or email me back. hustler1990@netscape.net
Please talk to others that don't come on here to ask them also. I will pick a place by the end of this Month. This will give me a Month to get everything straight and camping taking care of for us.
Thanks,
Troy Moore

I vote for Deepwater. This will be our family's first "official" ride with the new Max, and we are looking forward to it.

Wherever the location, we will either be there, or be there in spirit! :)

Bud

Either place is good.. I want to see rockport, and if it means the eastern guys will come that's best. Deepwater is closer to me and the camping at Truman lake is legendary. (right Mike?) I'd prefer riding before it gets hot and dry. Late May?

I pick Deepwater for my first choice . I love the water areas they have there. Hot & Dry is going to suck there.

So far it looks like Deepwater is it. I will wait until the end of the Month. I don't think it will be hot & Dry the first weekend in April. Should be nice and muddy at either location.

Troy, I meant let's not wait till summer for deepwater's first ride..

Ya hear that Mike Martindale? Guess I need to build a back seat for you.

Troy,
Where is deepwater located and what are the requirements to ride there.

It is in South Central Missouri in a town called Deepwater. The closest town is Clinton that is 6 miles North. Springfield is about 50 miles South of there. The town is on Truman Lake. No requirements to ride there other then not on any gravel or blacktop roads. Deepwater is a very nice place to ride with many strip pits full of both crappie and bass. Also the place has some nice hills to climb and mud. Lots of mud.
