I just looked at a reb 4 wheel vehicle yesterday the motor started great with just the choke pulled, it has been garaged but someone has painted it gray with a paint brush . What I'm worried about the brakes do not work, also the accelrator pedal cable kind of sticks I guess from not using very much. These local folks want $2000.00 for it. I've never owned one of these before, do you know if this is too much to spend on this vehicle?- I'd love to know the thoughts of folks much more experinced in these matters.
thank you so much for taking the time to help me out.

I belive the biggest problem with the reb is, finding replacement parts. I know it hasn,t been in production for many years. I'm sure if you are up to addapting parts from other machines you could make it any way you wish. However finding new factory proper parts will be very difficult

if any one has any info. on parts for a REB aatv please get in touch with me! I have an 1987 REB aatv 4x4, but i am having great difficulty finding parts and repair manual. Some of the parts on this particular aatv have been already been adapted due to lack of info. for replacement parts. Would like to restore back to new or good condition, just need info. to help me get it there!!

Thank you,
Bob & Staci

I've got a scanned copy of the November 1987 Dirtwheels magazine test of the Reb, and they said the brakes weren't anything to write home about. so, your brakes are probaly working normally. I bought mine via Ebay this summer and it's in the basement (drive in) now in the proccess of resurection. Kind of a neat little toy.
