some do and some are the polyetheline type, the modle was made for a few years and attex went to polyetheline all at once one year and so it depend on the year & month yours was made,
any holes in it? try some asatone on a rag somplace out of sight like inside the engine cover, dose it sofen the plastic? if eather question is yes than it's abs, otherwise polyetheline,

I have heard of the Heald trikes, but I don't know
a lot about them. I do know that there were a
couple different models, and also that they were
sold as kits for the owner to assemble his or
herself. If you learn any more about them, I'd be
very apperciative if you'd pass it along on this
post. I have recently found one that I may attempt
to restore. Check out my website for some more
trike atv's from that era:

Good luck!

I own a Carl Heald kit trike. I've had it ever since I was 14 and I'm 37 now. They stopped making the kits when people started getting hurt on other 3 wheelers-insurance was just too much.I still have assembly manuals and other info somewhere.E-mail me if interested.I just purchased a Attex 400 so I now have a two wheeler a 3 wheeler a four wheeler and a 6 wheeler.Anything out there w/ 5 ?
