Hi guys, I have had two scramblers in the past. Yes the fluid in the lines is dextron automatic transmission fluid. There should be a sqeese bottle (looks like a ketup bottle) on the left side by the steering wheel. Make sure this is about half full of fluid. The best way to fill the lines and the bottle is to go buy a brand new full size greese gun and fill it with transmission fluid (dextron 3 ) It will be messy and will leak some. Near the brake disks there are what appears to be greese fittings. THEY ARE NOT!!!! DO NOT PUT GREESE IN THEM!!! Use your new never had greese in greese gun filled with transmission fluid and pump in fgluid intill the bottle is half full. Turn your steering wheel every so often to get the air bubbles out. If you are riding and spring a leak in one of your lines, You can go to the napa dealer and get a compression fitting to repair the lines. If your brake and drive pads are worn or gone I know of some good ways to fix that also. I hope this info helps, I could write all day about little tricks and ways to fix up the drive line. P.S. Do not go in the water and then get the drive pads wet, I did this a few years ago when it was very cold out in the dead of winter, The plug came out and the drive pads got wet, I could not clime the bank to get out. The unit sank to the bottom (only three foot of water) and I had to walk 3 miles home. When we got back to pull it out It had Ice over the top of it!!!. It is all on video. My freind and I still watch it and smile. Well I have rambled on too long. Matt

We just clocked my 440 liquifire Scrambler with a GPS @ 48 mph. Should go faster once I fix the tire stagger. The scrambler is geared pretty low so your acceleration should be instant. Pete should have some of my pic's on his site soon. If you are interested we can get some other 440's and other monsters together for a little exibition racing.

JB,

Well I'm going to get an Attex superchief 500 this weekend(God Willing). So maybe all of us could get together :).

Good luck and enjoy your Superchief. Keep the dirty side down. It would be quite interesting to post photos and specifications of the existing hot machines in one place. Maybe other AATV nuts out there will build machines and join the group.
