Had trouble with removing the c clip's holding the sproket to the bearing case.
tried to use C clip seperators, they only broke or bent.
The answer on how to remove them ? Started playing around with it again & found it was best to clamp a pair of needle nose vice grips on them , clamping the inside of the tube and one end of the c clip together. then with a small flat tip - pop it off. reverse order for installing of course.

Seems on my Amphicat there is a part missing, it is what hold the grease. on the outside of the body.I was stumped becouse it didnt make sence that it came with presealed bearings and also had seals on the axel.thought this must be for keeping water out.
The answer of course is that the original factory model didnt come with presealed bearings,
So now I need to make the part somehow for the grease to be held in - trying plumbing parts and installing a grease nipple on it - heh
