This is a very interesting aatv that was on some page I found while looking for old ARGO pictures.
http://www.amphibiousvehicle.net/amphi/V/VP2800.jpeg

The description is as follows:

VP 2800
This 8x8 was made by Giles Poncin, the engine is a Peugeot 45 kw (65 hp) 2000 cc diesel (water cooled) and a top speed of 65 km/h but a Citroen 26 kw (35 hp) 2CV petrol (air cooled) with a top speed 60 km/h was also posible. They come with two lever break steering.
There are 4 forward gears and one reverse. The VP 2800 can carry one ton load. Other Poncin models are the VP2000 (6x6), VP3000 (8x8) and Poncin made also non amphibious 6x6 and 8x8 vehicles with a excavator in the back and one with a "bus" body. The VP 2800 has an optional PTO.
