Body repairs on max

I have about a 2x2 in. hole in my max IV, and I
would like to know what is the best way to fix it.
Any help would be appreciated.It is on the bottom.

if it's not real old it'l be polyethilin, you can weld it with a soldering iron if you still have the old piece or you can weld in polyethilin from oil containers or stuff like that, you can also get sheets of it from mcmaster car and pop rivit or bolt it into place, posably welding the seam after that with that soldering iron trick

Depends what the hole was made by...12ga.slug,oo buck,RPG,Claymore etc.

David's soldering iron trick worked great for me. I used a 100 watt iron (made for stained glass) in conjunction with a heat gun (paint stripper) to preheat the area.

I had an old HDPE 55 gal drum I used for filler rod. Look for the HDPE label beneath the recycle symbol on all plastics.
