Just when everyone around me thought I was crazy, I came up with my new invention. As some of you may know, I am paralyzed. I took up bow hunting last year (crossbow). I got one last year field dressed it and winched it into my 6x6. Well this year I designed and built a lift for my bigfoot. I hover roughly 15ft off the ground all cammoed out and call it death from above. I have photos, but scanner is messed up.

THAT IS REALLY COOL.I have several family members that are dissabled and I just bought a coot and a quad runner to help them get around. Did you do anything to make it easier to get in and out of the argo?

There's another Humphrey ride this year? I had to miss the earlier ones, this is good news.

On your Argo hunting blind... I don't hunt but I have nothing against it when done responsibly. I have to offer my praise on your continued enjoyment of the outdoors and not giving up, great job and enjoy your activities!

Well everyone, I didn't get killed yet in my tree stand! The thing is working great, but I didn't get me a deer yet. If I went out in the morning I could get one I'm sure. Hey Dave, how are you doing anyway? I have to call you sometime!!! Is your machine still running? I have been going out almost everyday on my Argo! I want to show you guy's a picture of it, but my scanner isn't working right! Maybe I can get my stepson Richie to send the picture on his computer! How much weight do you guy's think a tree limb can hold? Do any of you guy's watch junkyard wars? They have a Max on the show. If I fall from 17ft in my bigfoot, will I die or just get really hurt? I know all the axles would snap! Wish me Luck!

Tim, you're nuts! Gotta respect that. I don't hunt, but some people around me do. One guy got a nice buck just off of my property so I helped him a bit. Nothing like a Max with winch to hang and dress a deer, makes life so much easier. Just through the cable over a limb and lifted it right up for him. After that, and some hot coffee (don't you all have a 12v coffee maker in your Max?) he sheepishly asked if I could help him get the deer back. No problem, lots of room on the back of my Buffalo truck. Never went out hunting (I couldn't shoot anything!) but I am getting some nice steaks this year as a thank you!

Hey Tim, gotta parachute?

Tim
Sorry you haven't gotten a deer yet...I haven't either. I was on my way home and stopped by Barnes Argo in MD...Your plow supports were waiting for UPS. Hope your stand works bettr than my Tree Lounge did.
Russ

even if a parachut could open in 17 ft you got too remember whats above him, all that cayble and the branch too! if he hits the ground and dose the first and second bounce and still remains wheels down he still will get nailed by that stuff,
"use realy big branches tim" :-)

Yeah Dave, the limb is so big that if it landed on me with the hoist it would crush me. Thanks for the info on my plow mounts russ. I am going to pick up a 60" atv plow. the plow from odg is a good one , but costs a fortune. Does anyone have any good tips on rigging up the braces fo an atv plow?
