Could someone kindly provide a newbie with recommendation of oil used in T-20 transmission? The lettering on the plate attached to housing is unreadable. Thanks.

You may also wish to add a tube of General Motors Locking Differential additive. Part Number 1052358. This will eliminate any transmission chatter you may be experiencing.

Dextron II recommended has been replaced by Dextron III A quart of Ammaco synethic blend costs under $3 @ Autozone. Good luck getting it lifted @ high enough angle to drain it out the level hole. A steep bank with the wheels blocked so it won't roll works.
Alan how much does that GM stuff cost? Prolong transmission additive (Overkill) is $13
