I am dickering on 2 different aatv a trail boss and an attex colt. I have never owned a 6 wheeler before so I have a couple questions. I know some of the older machines did not have reverse. Does either of these machines have reverse? Neither one run so there is no way for me to tell besides one is 350 miles away the other is 800 miles away. Which is the better machine and which is easier to get parts for? Any input is greatly appreciated.

The Attex would be the better machine to have. There were alot more of them made and parts are easier to find. 350 miles is a long way to drive for a machine that does not run. I hope it is free. The one that is 800 miles away should come with a few hundred dollar bills stuck to it to make the drive worth while.

Both of them have reverse.

The Colt's the better machine. It will have a T20 transmission and be set up the same as any of the other Attex machines of the era, so any engine you want to install isn't a difficult task. I've never had a Trail Boss, but you don't see parts for them nearly as often as the Attex. (If you don't take the Colt, let me know where it is!)
