hello when ever i am going up a steep hill it seems to slip or if i am making a sharp turn hold one lever back and the other is in the foward position it wont spin on that free side to make it turn. belt is not slipping i tightend it help whould be great thanks

Ken, Adjust the pre-load on the return springs for the steering levers under the battery.
