John, My name is Joe Nash. I also have a 4x4 Scrambler, model 5000, yr unknown. Two of the jackshaft sprockets were striped. I located weld on sprockets at TSC "Tractor Supply Co.". They also carry barings and mounting flange. Match originals by dementions. No cross refrence for part#s. The TSC here carries in stock T35, T40, T50, and T60 chain and sprockets. I'm in the process of restoring this 4x4 Scrambler and I've thought about changing from the stock T40 to a T50. All sprockets and chain are worn out an this unit. I haven't measured the area on the right side of the jackshaft to see if the T50 sprockets and chains will fit. This is a common problem with the 4x4. I have seen four of these and all four had the double 12 tooth sprockets striped, at least one of them. Both are striped an the unit I bought. My e-mail address is jnash19@hotmail.com or 1-615-841-3912. If I can help, I'd be intrested to hear from you.
