Tom, On My Max11 I find that useing the foot brake helps on extreemly steep slopes. Useing the levers to help break and steer. I agree that "leap froging" sure gets your attention.

Has anyone retrofitted a decent braking system into the Max? Yes, the leap froggin' approach to hill decents is a bit of an eye opener, seems like a somewhat deficient design on the braking abilities to me.

again...it's a matter of obtain proper body support (by pressing your legs again the front part of max or use safety belt) to control sticks according to demand...better if you shout when start lowering the stepy hill..."jeronime"...just to keep balls away from throat!!!!!!
