Idle speed for Max??

Does anyone know what the idle speed should be on a 18 HP Max. I have mine set @ 800 rpm at the moment. Thanks in advance.

you set it usually just where its below where the clutch starts to engage. this allows for fast response from when you move the throttle lever. you dont have to do it that way if you dont want to.
