Plastic welding

Has anybody tried to weld any of the plastic on a Argo?If so what did you use and what type of plastic welding rod was used?Also how did it hold up?

Yep and it works very well. You can weld the body with a large soldering iron and some plastic buckets cut up in strips for filler rod. We used buckets from driveway sealer.

dt5428, just make sure the doner pastic containers are marked some where "HDPE". then let the irons heat sink into it and weld it like a gas torch with a circular motion.
