Leaking Max?

I have a Max IV which is about two years old. Recently I took it in for service and the drain plugs were inadvertently left out and I didn't catch it. Got some water in the Max (about level with the floorboards) before I got out of the pond. Changed the tranny fluid, etc and now it is running great, but I think I am noticing more water in the bottom of it at the end of a session of pond driving than I used to. I looked closely today and I don't think it is coming in where the plugs are and maybe it just represents splash from the wheels. I don't really see it coming in from around the axels, either. At the end of a 10 minute session in the pond today there was water up to the level of the top of the grooves in the bottom of the body when the machine was level. There seemed to be more water on the left than the right if that makes any sense...

Is this normal and expected or do I have a leak somewhere and if so, where should I start to look?

Thanks in advance for your help. This is a great site!

My ARGO MAGNUM does that too. I have not really taken the time to hunt down the leak yet though. I usually catch it when the water is spashing me from the engine compartment at full throttle. You get little spatters on your face and then when you pull a hard turn or something you notice water splashed up the back. I think mine is probably the axles seals because they have never been replaced and I don't really care as I don't go in water very often and if I do, its not long enough to be a big problem. I have a bilge in the ARGO as well so I am not too concerned but seals may be a good place to start.
