After sitting almost a year(!), I finally got around to working on the frozen T-20 in my Max II. When I last visited this site last year, I asked for help, and a couple of fellows were kind enough to offer their advice.

Shortly after the tranny stuck, I put my Max on an old mover's dolly, blocked up with short pieces of 2x4. It really worked great, and made moving my 6-wheeler a breeze. I parked it in a back corner of my garage and just sort of forgot about it. Work and personal life have kept my plate pretty full until recently.

Finally got the motivation to invesitgate the tranny issue further, planning on trying out the hints the guys here gave me. When I got into the body this past weekend, I wiggled the shifter linkage, just for the hell of it... and whuttaya know? It shifted no problem. WTF? I did NOTHING to it after covering it up and tucking it away on 4/28/02. Did the AATV gnomes make a surprise visit to my house?

I took my pressure washer and blasted the inside (YUCK!) and outside of the Max. I changed the oil and lubed the chains and cables. Wahoo!!! So nice to be out in my swampy woods again!

It still needs a few tweaks here and there, but I am very happy to be back among you again.

Peace.
-Harry
