have a argo with same body sytle as Chris Revards and in Richards restortation red argo.i beleive mine has either had its motor swapped or the people at Kohler / Ontario gear and drive should have better records becuase the picture of Revards argo didn't look like a kohler ser#723004701 and spec#3800309 anyone know anything about this motor ?should i keep the twin/2stroke or swapp & if i swapp what do i do about gearing as the 2stroke revvvs higher than a comparable 4.which 4stroke would drop in the engine compartment with out a huge headache any help would be greatly appreciated !!! the north guy

steve g. I have a 1980 argo 6x6, model # t4326 with a techumseh 16 hp. 4 stroke motor.Transmission serial # 7109 j. Mine looks exactly like Chris Revards. His looks like it has the 16 hp. techumseh also. Where does the north guy live, I'm in Toronto,Canada.

Norm, I still havn't been able to get Ron Bast, but I am still trying. I am trying to get in touch with the tech guy at odg as well. I havn't forgot about you, don't worrry, have you moved yet?? I will get in touch with you by friday for sure.

Yeah, thanks roadwolf. I left him another message but he hasn't got back to me yet. It is not bass, its is bast. I am hoping to go up to the plant this spring and test out the conquest 6x6. My magnum is still holding up, but I want to compare it to all the other models.
