I got to watch a Max video from a dealer in Minnisota (White Bear Lake). It shows a guy in a Max II hitting a ramp full throttle and getting at least 10 feet of air and landing perfectly in a lake. It is the coolest thing I have ever seen anyone do in a 6x6. We need more 6x6 riders like this guy. To know the Max can get that much air and land without the upper body going under is simply amazing.
Has anyone else seen this video? I could probably get you a copy if you want one. Thanks to Troy and Bud Moore from Midwest ATV (#1 Max dealer in sales) for the video.

Sounds like the same guy that sent a picture to Dirt Wheels a couple years ago. Dirt Wheels tested the MAX II and said to enter water straight and slow. This guy wrote in we do things different... Here's how we enter the water... "We don't use your pussyfooter approach".

Has anyone watched MTV Cribs lately? There is some guy who has retired from the pro basketball team in New Jersey. They show him crusing around in a MAX IV.

Brandon; I'm surprised that I was able to scoop you on reporting a MAX appearance on TV. lol.

Brandon,
Thanks for helping us out last weekend for the outdoor show.
I will be filming 6x6's at the deepwater ride and if you want to get on film, come and ride with us. I want to get about 2 hours of just extreme riding on tape. Anybody that comes to the ride and gets on tape, can get a free copy after the tape is edited. Hope to see you there.

Brandon,
Thank you for helping us out at the outdoor show last weekend.

Just to let everyone know, I will be making a video tape while at the deepwater ride on March 31, April 1. I want to get at least 2 hours of Extreme riding, including mud, water, & jumping. If you want to be seen on a tape, come to the ride and show me some Extreme riding.

Bob, I have the picture and article from that Dirt Wheels mag. I also have the review they did on the Max II. Very poor job to say the least. Not only was it very biased, but much of the information was incorrect.

The video is two hours long. It shows the Max climbing out of a lake onto ice. Glad someone finally proved that could be done! They made it look easy. They had a Max IV with 26" tires and tracks over those tires. That was very cool and something RI should look into. Then comes a part that I still can't figure out. A guy has a pair of skis on and is holding a rope tied to a Max II. They are on a big frozen lake. First the Max is just sitting there idling when suddenly it takes off... with no driver! The Max drives full throttle pulling a skier across the ice. It turns at the "driver's" command and the person jumps some ramps on the ice. On one jump the skiier lets go of the rope and the Max stops.
