Hey,
I'm thinking about making a video of 6x6 and other atvs. I would probably sell this video. I want to know what yall want to see in this video? It wont be the best movie ever, but I know how much 6x6 owners love to watch a video of other 6x6's.
Thanks

well max Iv, i go to the events and tape them,
i can tell you 6x6'ing can be tough on video equipment,my friend tim okeefe's camcorder lost it's life during it's second atv outing! i just got two back from the repair shop just in time to bring them to the july 2001 jamboree and there coverd with mud from humphrey, one of them is stuck in telephoto now. back in april i did not get any video at humphrey due to vairios equipment failures,so i go back to the drawring board and make them tougher, got 4 hrs this time!
now i dont know if you were awair of this but,
the gov insists that if you give copys away, sell them or just provide them for public veueing it's "publishing" and as such means you are required to send your best copy too the librairy of congress! it must be acompanyed by the corect gov form and $30.00 to register your (c)copyright
you can download the forms and instructions, i think there were three pages of instructions, aarrgh, and if thay don't like the way you printed there form, well, you can guess,
make shure you have it edited the way you like it as if you chaing it you have a beter copy and...
i was trying to amagine what the heck the librairy of congress dose with all the junk thay colect? asprin anyone? i can e-you the files if you cant find them online,i already printed a few but im shure i still have them on my pc,
just looking around the room here i can see $2000.00 in equipment ect.. i have acuired for the perpose of videoing for sale: aatv riding events, now the van to toe me to the event and refurb on my trailer was ment as a smal buisnes expence but how can you write off thousands of dollers spent on such vehicles when your only going to make a few hundred, ??? aargh,
and i still need more stuff,
geting back too you, heres an idea, "how too" tapes are a good idea, i tryed but have not yet suceded in producing one, camera trouble, got it back after proget was complete, back yard rideing videos are fun to trade but probly wont sell well,
you see after you sell a few people trade them,

aarrgh
captur action! thats what they want!but prepair to sit out on all the fun. i mised the chance to compete in sundays events cause i was tapeing
them, ooh if you just leave a camcorder on a tripod knowbody will wach the tape, we are conditioned by televison to expect seans too move and chainge, ect..it's a learning expireance for shure! good luck,

HI ISAAC, yah i like the new camera locations too! the trip saw a number of expiriments, and watching the video's myself i take notes and try to improve apon them, i did my best to find the position you sugested, it was actualy on top of my pasenger side seat! (pasenger vew)
i will be looking for another vantage point for that camera this weekend though
as i will have a pasenger,
thats the bad news and the good news!
remember how much beter real camcorders do in atv event capturing? well the pasenger can take charge of a real camcorder! i'l mark the spot for future single action riding and will put that camera back for shure!
i will chainge the location of my camera switch also, and duct-tape the backside of my headlights for night rides, i think i'l need a spotlight at the camera for thoughs night rides i tape in the future, and ooh yah i have all ready replaced several batery packes! no more dead cameras as soon as i turn them on!
and prehaps this will be the ride when i get to wire another vehicle for the hands free video tapeing, and thusly have the chance to
"get into the video my self"
posably the september video will laiter be trimed down to just the sunday ride,
(the last 2 hrs of your video)
i have looked into an on board moniter too! and more hi res cameras, but im not selling enoph videos at this time to do it, (rats)
id love to get these things into the video rentle stores! that would spotlight our sport huh!
THANKS AGAIN!

i AM ORDERING MY video shortly. I just discovered a hunting video with an argo conquest in it. Dan Fitzgeralds, DOWN FOR THE COUNT. He is showing it off by hauling a moose out of the bush through thick cover and a river. It is a really good video. you can rent it at most places that rent hunting videos.

This last weekend at the cottage, I found the video feature on our new digital camera. I tried it with the ARGO and it worked. How do I now get in on to the net for people to see? It opens in Quick time, and its on my hard drive. How would I get it onto my site?

Dave, the thing with the digital camera is that is has really good quality for a camera. its 6 megapixles I believe and their are so many features, I could probably do something really cool with it but I don't know how. On my computer, I am running WIndows XP home edition. Their is this movie maker program that lets you import clips and edit them. However, the digital camera makes these movie files and puts them in .MOV format. I need them as an mpeg or a mwv or something like that. Do you know how to change the format of the file. Changing the extension on the file doesn't do anything but mess things up.

If I can figure out how to do anything with them I'll send you a clip of the ARGO on the trailor. I wasn't thinking when I did this but the trailor wasn't hitched to anything so the trailor flips with the ARGO weight so it looks a little funny seeing an argo tipping a trailor and then pulling a doughnut right after. Do you have an e-mail address through microsoft outlook or outlook express? I can't send the file to a hotmail as they don't allow you to send huge files. If you do, please e-mail it to me at djhkeeso@rogers.com

john schwab,i just finished watching your 2002 haspin acres video. outstanding footage.if this years is as good.....it will be well worth the money.i wish i would have waited till sunday to deliver my bigfoot,so i could have rode it this year there.but,as some folks say hind-sight is 20-20.unfortunately for me,my fore-sight is 20-80.and i would like to add.....you got one of the baddest max II's i have ever seen.i was greatly impressed with your performance with it.keep shooting, and riding.

hey david:

your pete's 2003 video shows many high quality improvement....a really "pro" design..by the way...what's the deal with your bearings???...i'm on my way to replace your nick name from "plastic master" to "bearing buster"!!!...also maybe is time to replace flangette bearing by lateral greasable pillow block ones to hold a german or sweeden made ones (bearing)...( skf or fag)..

it was just an axel chainge,
i chainge em that way cause it's quicker,
im adding inners to my older maxII though,
the factory type,
even if they tell you it cant be done it can.
i may make a "how too" video and maybe an instal kit as well,
i think it's a gread upgrade,
i have even used a previously broken axel
(on the end at the bushing pocket )
with the new inner bearing and it's working great!
