I just bought a 2000 model Mountain Lion 6 X 6 but cannot find out a thing about them other than they were manufactured in Minnesota and are now out of business. Does anyone know of these things? I have not received it yet but it seems like a heavy-duty brute of a machine. Would appreciate anything anyone can share. Thanks.

Lynn, In the last 10 years the number of companies producing 6x6 amphibious machines in North America could pretty much be counted on your fingers. I never heard of a mountain lion but I would sure love to see a picture or two. Could I ask you to post a couple here? On this site under "museum" is a pretty complete posting of the machines of the past.

Didn't mean to mislead. This 6X6 is not amphibious and is a utility vehicle, more like a Gator. I am just hoping someone on this board may still know something about them. I attached 2 pics

Looks usefull. Pretty cool. Could you fit a round bale in that bed? You'd think that someone from a plant nursery would have snatched that up. Be good at a construction site too, if you were building multiple houses. so what are you doing with it, if you don't mind answering? I am eternally curious about everything.

I bought it on a whim after seeing it on e-bay. I have been looking for a vehicle to use at a small beach house I have on a small island in the Bahamas. I wanted to drag a harrow up and down the beach to groom it, pull out small rocks and the inevitable small plants that start growing in the sand. I placed bids on both an 01 Argo Bigfoot and this '95 Mountain Lion and to my surprise won both! Now I am trying to decide which to ship down there but I think it will be the ML as it is rugged as heck and can do a lot of other work. I just wish I could find some literature on it as I want to maintain and operate it correctly. It has power steering, 2, 4 or 6 wheel drive and a dump bed so it is serious worker. Any ideas where to look for literature or info???
