I had a Rough Rider just a few weeks ago. Mine was in great cosmetic condition. All mechanics were also good but it hadn't run in years and needed a tune up. I sold it on eBay for $961.

I think it is more of a 'collector' and just something to play around with for those who like to tinker with toys in the garage. I can't see it ever being tough enough or reliable for any real work or trail riding. The chains are small and the frame is nothing more than a little strip of metal. It has no reverse and no real tranmission for that matter. It just depends on what you are looking to do with the machine.
